Field Trips
From the nature the center, center for the arts, children's museums, etc we offer 2-5+ field trips a month!
Co-Op
We currently offer classes for ages 4-12 and are working on classes for middle and high school ages. We do have a nursery for parents who are teaching and have littles.
Session One:
Septemper 19th - November 14th
Session Two:
December 5th - January 20th
Session Three:
March 13th - May 9th
Cost: $25 per class
Clubs
Last year we offered Robotics Club & Book Club. We are a growing community! This year we have Robotics, Book Club, Science Olympiad, Outdoor Club, & PE.

Cake Decorating
Community classes include things like tae kwon do, tennis, swimming, fencing, etc.
Last year we had cake decorating, cooking, taekwondo & tennis! This year we are looking to offer swimming, fencing, tennis, and whatever may come our way!

One thing we know is that kids need and love to socialize! Aside from field trips, we plan holiday parties, park days, game days, video game days, movies and more!
Mom’s/Parent Night Out!
Not only do our children need socializing, we do too! We make it a goal to plan either a mom’s night or parents night. This can include late night dinner, early lunch, a craft event, etc.
This is a great time to meet other moms/parents!
Fundraisers
Homeschooling isn't always pocket friendly, and we get that! To help offset some of the cost of everything Great Lakes offers, we try to open a few fundraisers!
Travel
Once a year we plan to do a multi-day field trip! Last year we went to Cincinnati and explored the zoo, museums, and caverns. This coming school year our trip will be to Chicago!
